$BNB Chain has become the largest blockchain of assets tracked under Franklin Templeton’s Benji tokenization platform, with approximately $1.5 billion recorded on the network.
According to RWA.xyz data cited by BNB Chain, this figure represents 61.71% of the platform’s decentralized asset value.
This milestone marks a radical change in the platform’s network distribution. $BNB The chain’s holdings increased by 1,226% last month, surpassing Stella, which previously held the largest share. Base, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Polygon, and Aptos hold smaller amounts. This migration will change the Benji technology platform to $BNB Chain in 2025. The integration allows asset managers to $BNB A chain of transactions and ownership records associated with a tokenized financial instrument.

Franklin Templeton launched a blockchain-based money market fund with Stellar in 2021. The product became an early example of a U.S. registered mutual fund that uses public blockchain technology to process transactions and maintain stock ownership records.
Cryptocurrency analyst ALLINCRYPTO said Stellar provided the initial foundation before Franklin Templeton expanded its tokenization strategy to more networks. However, the current RWA.xyz data shows: $BNB Chain currently holds the largest share of assets tracked across the broader Benji platform. The data does not indicate how much of the recent increase is due to new issuance compared to assets moved between networks.

Franklin Templeton expands access to BENJI across crypto platforms
Franklin Templeton has also expanded the use of its tokenization product through major cryptocurrency companies. As reported by crypto.news, the company added BENJI to MoonPay Trade in June, allowing eligible institutional customers to move between stablecoins and tokenized fund products through its on-chain trading system.
The asset manager also partnered with Payward, Kraken’s parent company, to integrate BENJI as a collateral and cash management tool. A separate deal between Franklin Templeton and Binance will allow eligible institutions to use tokenized money market fund shares as off-exchange collateral.

Franklin Templeton’s multi-chain strategy comes as more traditional financial companies use public blockchains to distribute regulated investment products. The company has expanded its tokenization efforts across several networks while developing new products and distribution partnerships.
