Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano and a major figure in the crypto world, made some important comments praising the Filecoin (FIL) and Monero (XMR) networks on David Gokshteyn’s podcast “The Breakdown.”
Hoskinson claimed that Filecoin provides “massive decentralized storage” and said:
“Filecoin stores exabytes of data. If you had a 1 GB internet connection, it would take 250 years to download one exabyte. The Filecoin network contains tens of exabytes of data. This is truly an Internet-scale system.”
Charles Hoskinson said, “We plan to start using Filecoin and Midnight closely. We have considered several decentralized storage solutions (some of which I won’t name here) and have concluded that Filecoin is the best option for us at this time.”
Additionally, he also spoke highly of another altcoin.
“Monero is a pioneer in many areas. Our door is always open to them. We want to collaborate with them on many things, at least help them with liquidity, DeFi and other issues. That’s really exciting.”
