Karrier One, the decentralized telecommunications operator connecting Web3 and communications, announced the launch of a new communications app that combines secure networking, blockchain wallets, and AI-powered payments in a single platform.
This application integrates three technologies:
- SCION, Secure Internet Routing Architecture
- Sui is an L1 blockchain focused on scalable payments and digital asset transfers
- Butler is an AI assistant that helps users perform transactions using simple text commands.
The app allows users to make encrypted voice calls, exchange messages, and send digital assets using only their phone number. After registration, users receive a SCION-protected phone number, a wallet connected via zkLogin technology, and access to the AI Butler assistant. Users can perform actions such as sending cryptocurrencies through natural language commands without having to manually enter their wallet address.
This application can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play. Initial pilot programs will begin in remote and indigenous communities across northern Canada, rural areas of the United States, and some markets in Africa and Southeast Asia.
