Ripple executive Cathy Craddock reacted He is very enthusiastic about the new partnership with AMINA Bank and claimed to be “thrilled” by the recent partnership.
“In doing so, AMINA Bank offers seamless, frictionless cross-border payments to crypto-native customers, helping them scale without hitting the walls of old banking frictions,” she said.
AMINA Bank has become the first European bank to adopt Ripple Payments to enable near real-time cross-border transactions for its crypto-native customers.
The partnership addresses a major pain point for these customers: friction between blockchain-based operations and traditional banking infrastructure.
AMINA Bank leverages the company’s technology to process transactions more efficiently.
For Ripple, this deal expands its global reach. It also demonstrates the practical application of the company’s payment technology in Europe. For AMINA Bank, it strengthens its position as a crypto-friendly institution that can bridge the nascent crypto industry and traditional finance.
It is also worth noting that AMINA Bank is the first bank in the world to support Ripple’s highly regulated stablecoin, Ripple USD (RLUSD).
Other developments in Europe
Ripple has been working with European regulators and financial leaders to expand its presence in the EU.
Throughout the year, Ripple has actively pursued Luxembourg regulatory approval for EU enlargement under the MiCA framework.
In May 2025, Schuman Financial’s Euro-backed stablecoin (EURØP) became the first MiCA-compliant Euro stablecoin to be integrated into the XRP Ledger.
As reported by U.Today, Craddock attended the US-UK High-Level Blockchain Roundtable held at the UK Prime Minister’s Office in September. British Prime Minister Rachel Reeves and US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent also attended the meeting.
