Pi Network is gaining momentum ahead of Pi2Day on June 28th, rolling out new testnet tokens while prices are showing early signs of recovery.
The Pi Core team recently announced updates to Pi Launchpad following feedback from over 478,000 participants who took part in the platform’s first testnet token experiment. In parallel with the upgrade, Pi launched a second testnet token called SLICE. This will remain active until June 28th.
Pi Launchpad gets a major upgrade
According to Pi Network, the initial Launchpad tests generated valuable community feedback that helped identify ways to simplify participation and improve the overall user experience.
The updated system primarily focuses on Test-Pi commitment amounts. Instead of navigating a more complex process, users simply select the amount of Test-Pi they want to commit, and the platform automatically calculates the remaining requirements.
Pi Launchpad has updated its participation flow and model to incorporate data and feedback from the first testnet token launched on Pi Day in 2026.

The team says their goal is to make joining Launchpad easier, more transparent, and fairer for all users.
At the same time, we are testing these improvements using the new SLICE token. Similar to previous Launchpad experiments, SLICE will only exist on testnet and will not be migrated to mainnet.
Price recovery begins to take shape Before Pi2Day
Pi price is trading around $0.134, and the near-term outlook is improving. For bulls, the first major resistance lies near $0.1378. Meanwhile, improvements in SLICE Launchpad testing and price volatility are giving the community new reasons to pay attention to Pi Network.
On the downside, immediate support lies near $0.1296, followed by stronger support near $0.1242. If selling pressure returns, the key floor will remain near $0.1186.
As Pi2Day approaches, both the SLICE Launchpad test and improved price volatility give the community even more reason to keep a close eye on Pi Network.
