Wallet in Telegram has launched Wallet Rewards, a new points-based loyalty program that allows users to earn crypto-related rewards through transactions, referrals, and activity on the platform. A $500,000 reward pool is set for the first season, with extensive plans to earn millions in rewards over the long term.

This rollout gives Telegram-based crypto wallets a new retention and engagement layer built directly into the app, as platforms across crypto look for ways to move beyond one-time airdrops to more consistent user activity. According to Wallet, the program is available to more than 150 million registered users through Crypto Wallet.
Wallet Rewards is built around a perpetual loyalty system where users earn points through their daily activities and redeem them for tiered reward boxes. At launch, users will earn 1 point for every $10 exchanged in their wallet, 5 points for every $100 in perpetual transaction volume, and an additional 20% of points generated by referred users, subject to regional availability. The company said additional revenue mechanisms will be introduced in the future.
The product also includes a seasonal leaderboard system layered on top of the core loyalty program. The first season will run from April 16th to May 20th and will offer a total of $500,000 in rewards. Of this amount, $300,000 will be allocated to the Mystery Box and $200,000 will be set aside as leaderboard prizes to be distributed to the top 1,000 participants.
Rewards for the first season will include stablecoins as well as a combination of tokens and tokenized assets such as LIT, ADI, XAUT, gold-related rewards, and xStocks. Wallet says users will be able to earn, track and redeem rewards without leaving Telegram, and future expansions will include reduced fees, higher earning yields, partner benefits, exclusive experiences and more.
Alex Clarkin, director of wealth and investments at Wallet in Telegram, said the company is bringing a familiar Web2-style reward structure to Web3 and embedding it into the messaging environment that users already interact with socially.
The company said points have no expiration date and are already planned for use in future seasons, mechanics and benefits. For now, the first season serves as the starting point for a long-term effort to make Wallet Rewards a permanent part of the Telegram cryptocurrency experience.
